DELTA FAIR 2008

We took the kids and went with our neighbor friends to the Delta Fair last weekend. They had such a great time and hey, who can resist a beautiful day (seriously, it was like in the low 80's that morning), all the rides you can stand, and a few fried twinkies?

This was by far the kids' favorite ride. It went around in circles but at the turns it jerked which they thought was so funny! Notice the car they picked out to ride...they love Mickey D's!!!

The swings were a big hit! You can see Eli's sheer delight as it began going higher and higher.
Eli was tall enough to ride down this slide. Ella Kate wasn't and cried and cried because she couldn't go...maybe next year.
He made it to the bottom...
And this is what he though of it!
We are very much in a pirate phase and have been for quite some time, so this pirate ship that flew up in the air was alot of fun for the kids. It was funny because from up high, Eli could scope out his next plan of action and when he came down he would tell us what they wanted to do next.
