Day 4-Animal Kingdom

The night before had been a rough one. Ella Kate had developed some pretty bad congestion and a cough. She was running a 102 when we put her to bed. I had brought tylenol and motrin but nothing else. Brian ended up running to Walgreens at 1 am because Ella Kate couldn't stop coughing. We gave her some robitussin and benadryl and she was finally able to sleep. Needless to say, we took our time that next morning getting out. Her fever had broken and she seemed fine and ready to go back to all the Disney fun!

We headed to the safari ride first thing because they say the animals are mostly out then before it gets too hot. The kids enjoyed seeing the animals: here's Ella Kate making binoculars with her hands :) Cute.

We ate lunch at the Rainforest Cafe. They loved this elephant that "spit"water out of his trunk.
Stitch!
If you get to go to Animal Kingdom, make sure you go see "Finding Nemo the Musical." It was a wonderful show and the kids loved it! They actually loved all the shows we saw because everything was so animated and "over the top." It was a nice break from the heat and allowed the kids to rest too :)
We stopped in at a carnival type area. Eli played the whack-a-mole game and beat everyone else (including adults) to win this leapord print dinosaur he has named "Rexy." He was so proud of himself for winning! Notice the stroller: very worth it! It was nice not having to tote our own stroller through parking lots, onto trams, through airports, etc. We just picked them up and left them at every park...for a price of course :)
Here is Brian's favorite roller coaster: the new Expedition Everest. He was able to get fast passes (highly recommended) and still get to ride a few roller coasters at all the parks.
You can't go to Disney without having a Mickey Mouse ice cream bar!

This is a video that makes me laugh. It is typical brother/sister interaction :) We were waiting to be seated for "the Festival of a Lion King" ...another excellent show!
