"Sitting with Santa"

Today, we had Brian home with us. He has extra vacation time and if he doesn't use it, he loses it, so he is taking off every Friday through Christmas. We loaded up and went to the Enchanted Forest at the Pink Palace. Granna came along and we had a great time looking at all the sites. There were so many trees all decorated with a theme...there was even a grinch theme that Ella Kate didn't want to get to close too :) Also among the sites were gingerbread houses, model railroads, animatronics, and at the end....Santa Claus.

This is a picture of the picture we got (we don't have a scanner so sorry about the flash). EK kept saying, "I'm gonna sit in Santa's lap!" Well, she did, but as you can see, getting her to smile about it was a different thing. Hey though, she did MUCH better than Eli at this age :)
